I believe that as people become more accepting of themselves, they are more capable of finding happiness, contentment, and making positive changes in their lives. Self awareness and self-acceptance, and changing habits are goals that sometimes take a long time to achieve. It is my hope that my clients develop the capacity to resolve personal problems with my support. Some clients need only a few counseling sessions to achieve their goals, whereas others may require months or even years of counseling. As a client, you are in complete control of your therapy and may end counseling at any point. I encourage you to discuss this decision with me during your session. I will be supportive of that decision, and will be available to you to do additional work in the future if necessary.
